What it’s all about…
“Come join fellow people studying and working in or aspiring to be a part of the humanitarian world by sharing lively conversation over drinks at a fine Irish pub” is the description of this very passionate tweetup that gather people from not only Boston, but also RI and some other Northeast states.
What happened?
On December 1st 2011 a group of about 10 people got together, many for the very first time, to socialize and collaborate about how to best improve the global humanitarian issue. According to the group, there is only 1% of US funds allocated to resolving international humanitarian issues.
Why should you go?
If you want to get involved with the humanitarian movement and want to know what it is all about, this is the tweetup for you. If you have any creative ideas on how to best solve humanitarian issues, this is also a great group to share those ideas with.
