What it’s all aboutBoston Bloggers Holiday Fiesta Attendees

Well, it’s all in the name: Boston Bloggers is a community of Boston-based bloggers. Although they have been relatively quiet planning events, 2012 will see a variety of blogger events including more networking and socializing. Organizers Alison and Katy took the holidays as an opportunity to revitalize the community and bring the blogger community together as a whole. Approximately forty fabulous bloggers gathered at Mass Ave Tavern on December 14, 2011 for networking and gift swapping. Being the holiday season, however, many attendees also donated gifts for Toys for Tots. Finally, swag bags were provided by Eventbrite, the Swapaholics, and Pretzel Crisps.

Despite the overwhelming nature of the holidays, it was refreshing that Boston Bloggers added a fun element with a gift swap. The festive decor created a holiday spirit, particularly the fireplace with stockings hanging on the mantle. The area dedicated to the event provided a cozy environment–ideal for networking with fellow bloggers. Overall, Boston Bloggers pulled off a successful night filled with holiday cheer and sense of community.
