Here at BostonTweetUp we always strive to provide you with products and services that will help you become more successful in the fastest way possible. One of the keys to that, is being to able connect with the right person at the right time. As the saying goes “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.”
The quickest way to meet as many people as possible is via networking events. So we have a saying “It not that there are networking events happening, it’s that you know about the relevant ones.”
Ok, it’s not as poetic, but the point is that it doesn’t matter that there are 30+ events happening, it matters that 1) you know about them and 2) that you know which events are relevant to you.
We want to make it as convenient as possible for you to find the networking events that are most relevant to you, and we want to let you know as soon as they become available. The number one place to find out about new events being added to the calendar is via Twitter and/or subscribing to our calendar, in our weekly newsletter and on our other social media channels.
So we want to find out what day would you most like to receive the newsletter.
Yes we know about the Science of Timing : Newsletter edition (see below) but we wanted to ask you directly.
Here is a longer reason why we want to know and what day is best to send you the newsletter
According to BostonTweetUp history, the catalyst for BostonTweetUp was conceived because Joselin Mane, our co-founder, missed a Mashable event back on August 7, 2008. He missed it by a few hours, simply because he didn’t know. It was one of the best events of the year.
After that, he vowed to make more of an effort to attend more networking events. But after being overwhelmed with all the calendars available, at least ten at that time and now much more, he knew there must be a better solution.
Now, BostonTweetUp aggregates the best networking events in the New England area, adds them to the Calendar, highlights a few in the newsletter, and promotes them all via social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google +, etc), so that you don’t have to go to ten calendars or miss an event that might change your life and/or your business.
Note: We also provide coaching/training on how to best customize your online profile(s) and how to effectively network offline so that you can connect with anyone you wish to connect with. Contact Us if you are interested in any of those services.
So as we work on a way to let you know about events that you are most interested in, as soon as they become available, we want to know when you would like to receive the weekly newsletter.
And yes, as we said above, we have seen the science of timing infographic via one of our good friends Dan Zarella and the great team at KissMetrics and @Pure360 (see below) however, we still wanted to ask you directly so that we know what day of the week you best prefer to receive the BostonTweetUp Newsletter.
