Nice video, Joselin! You provide an excellent checklist for people who want to make the most of their networking opportunities. Great advice for newbies. And a good reminder for those of us who have been attending networking events for years, if not decades.
Thanks I greatly appreciate it! Looking forward to releasing the follow up videos!
My two favorite tips are Googling yourself and "know who you are". I pay particular attention to the last one because I feel it's important to be the same person you are offline as you are online. I think that's helped me in my career. BUT I could never compete with Joselin when it comes to networking!
Great post Joselin.
One of the tips that I think a lot of people take for granted is just knowing yourself. You need to know who you are before you can do what you want to do.
Something that could be covered next could be, how to follow up with a person after you have made the initial connection.
