  • Last week I flew from Boston to San Fran for a #twitterqueens tweetup & flew back the next day!

For me, it's more about the location (like Nicholas said) -- I take public transportation, so location is key. If I can ride/walk there in a reasonable amount of time, I'm totally there. That's why I never make it to the SMB's ='(
  • Wow! I am amazed at the responses! Thanks for the feedback!

would travel 120 miles to go to a tweetup. It better be good though. :)

  • For me, living in NH requires 21+ miles to get to any Boston/Cambridge events. More events are being held in NH now, but for some of the tweetups, its absolutely worth the drive down to Boston.

  • It's not so much the distance as the availability of bike routes. That includes considerations like traffic, bike lanes, major hills, dangerous crossings, and overall distance. Realistically it means only tweet-ups in Cambridge/Boston, with the exception of anything along the Minuteman out into Arlington/Lexington.
